DAY 1
Arrival – Medan – Parapat – Samosir Island
Recommended arrival: Morning flight before 11:00 AM
Your adventure begins as you transition from the bustling city of Medan toward the tranquil shores of Lake Toba.
Highlights:
Parapat & Lake Toba: Depart to a charming lakeside town located on the shore of the spectacular Lake Toba (approx. 4 hours’ drive). Along the way, enjoy scenic views of rubber plantations, palm oil estates, rice terraces, and small local towns. A short stop will be made at a local snack shop for refreshments and restrooms.
Samosir Island: Arrive in Parapat and cross Lake Toba by public ferry (approx. 1 hour) to Samosir Island, located in the heart of the lake.

DAY 2
Samosir Island Cultural Tour
Recommended departure: Morning after breakfast
Immerse yourself in Batak traditions and ancient history on this cultural island exploration.
Highlights:
Boat Tour: Enjoy a morning boat tour visiting Tomok Village to see the Tomb of King Sidabutar, and experience the traditions of the Batak Toba people.
Ambarita Village: Explore ancient stone tables and chairs used for historic tribal justice rituals.
Return to the hotel by boat
Leisure Afternoon: Spend the afternoon at your own pace. You may explore the island on foot, swim in the lake, rent a bicycle (optional at own expense), or relax by the water.

DAY 3
Samosir – Parapat – Brastagi – Medan
Recommended departure: Morning after breakfast
After breakfast, return to Parapat by ferry and continue the journey through the scenic Lake Toba Ring Road.

Sipiso-piso Waterfall: Marvel at this dramatic waterfall plunging hundreds of meters into Lake Toba.
Brastagi: Visit this cool mountain town, nestled between two active volcanoes, and browse the local fruit market.
Tropical Rainforest: Drive through lush rainforest scenery on your way to Medan.

DAY 4
Medan City Tour – Departure
Recommended departure: City tour subject to flight schedule
Explore the multicultural landmarks of Medan before your onward journey.
Medan City Tour: Visit the royal Maimun Palace and the historic Tjong A Fie Mansion (subject to flight schedule). Approximately four hours before departure, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
